Dr. Safwat has been practicing as a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon since 1974. Holding a Diploma of the Licensure of The Royal College of Physicians, Surgeons & Gynecology of Edinburgh. Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, Cairo University, Master of Orthopedic Surgery Liverpool University. Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Dr. Youssef’s experience in the Field of Orthopedic Surgery spans almost 4 decades.
He trained in prestigious Universities and Hospitals in the United Kingdom, The USA, France and Egypt. He served as a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon in Dammam KSA for 3 years. Then at St Vincent’s Hospital in New York for 21 years. He moved in 2002 to Kenya and practiced a charity Hospital in Nairobi for 6 months. Then moved to Egypt and practiced in Victoria Hospital in Alexandria for 5 years.
In 2007, Dr. Youssef moved to the UAE and worked in well-known hospitals in Abu Dhabi before joining My Health Medical Centre in 2019.
The Fields of Experienced span Surgery for Acute Fractures, Ununited Fractures, Joint Replacements, Herniated Disc Treatment and Surgery, Arthroscopic Surgery, Hand Surgery, Treatment of Osteoporosis and Pediatric “Children’s” Orthopedic Surgery.
